Whilst browsing the submissions for this contest thus far, I noticed a lack of racy humour. Hopefully this fills that gap somewhat! Plus, I couldn't resist being silly.

The rocket-powered Atomic Underpants look like a fantastic idea. Unfortunately, this is why the retro future never became a reality.

The idea behind this design is funny for sure! To be honest, I think it would be more appealing for dA to sell without the art on the back entirely. I know that goes against your original vision, but it's just a suggestion. Good idea going against the grain! My contest entry is at [link] if you'd like to see!

Thanks for the comment. I'm completely in agreement with you to be honest, and it was a thought that crossed my mind when I made it. However, I'm in staunch opposition to the censorship of one's original idea, and although I do believe it has a greater chance of being printed if it were less offensive, I just can't bring myself to spoil it.

I think on principle, even if it shatters my chances of making the final, I'd like to leave it as it is.

The way that modern humour is blunted by censorship to protect the squeamish is something that cuts deep for me. Look at what the censor did to my beloved Tom & Jerry!

Anyway, you've got me rambling! Thanks for the vote! I have done you the same courtesy for your great design

Yeah, censorship is a touchy thing. You want to express the true essence of something, but there's always the risk it will offend or enrage. Curbing your vision to cater to someone else is never fun; I'd hate to alter my novel just because someone got not and bothered by a line of dialogue, or a character, or especially a theme. No good.

I'm probably taking it a little too seriously considering that this is a bare arse and not exactly the Mona Lisa, but yes, it would be blunted humour without the raciness I think
